GBクラスの「国旗、国名クイズ」
1月9日(水)がGBクラスの「お正月第1回レッスン」でした。
“The first New Year’s lesson in 2013” of GB was on Wednesday, January 9th.
世界には200以上の国があります。
There’re over 200 countries in the world.
レッスン前半に、志保屋書店で販売している「国旗カード」を使いました。
We enjoyed an activity in the former part of GB lesson; Yoshy used “A Pack of Cards of National Flags” which is sold at Shihoya Bookstore.
全部のカードは、国旗とカタカナの国名になっています。
The names of the entire card are written in katakana and have each flag.
正しい英語の発音を真似て、カードをスワット！
After Yoshy had them repeat after Yoshy’s pronunciations of those names, they enjoyed swatting.
カタカナで、「カナダ」、「アメリカ」、「イギリス」…と書いてあっても、正しい発音をリピートしてから当てるのは難しかったね。
English pronunciations e.g. “Canada”, “USA”, “UK”, etc were really so different from katakana that it was difficult for you to swat the correct cards, wasn’t it?
