児童英検・成績表を配布中です
去る2月9日(土)実施の、「#3 児童英検」の3つのグレードの一シーン：実施風景です。
This February 9th, Saturday, LL Shihoya Arai School held “#3 Junior Eiken”. This picture shows one scene of three grades: BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD.
最高レベルのGOLDには、「単語読解」がありますが、どのグレードも、ほとんどが「リスニング問題」です。
GOLD, the highest level of it includes several questions about “reading comprehension of words or phrases”, but the others have nothing of it. The examinee is checked about almost only listening skills in this Junior Eiken.
受験生徒は全員、エリーが大好き！エリーと、マスコットのジュニアルファ君も参加しました。
BTW, all examinees were very fond of Yoshy’s pet-dog, Erie! A good-luck mascot, Juni-alpha and Erie also joined the.
犬がいたら気が散る？－逆でした！セラピー犬として、始めて受験した子の緊張感を和らげてくれました。まあ、時と場合によりますから、いつもエリーがいるわけではありません。
Yoshy guess most of you might worry that if there were a dog among them, they would feel distracted by it, mightn’t you? – No, that was contrary! Erie was some kind of a therapy-dog there. She reduced tension in the atmosphere. Actually that’s depends on TPO; there’s not always Erie in there. :-)
リスニング力は、「4技能」のいわば土台です。
Yoshy believes that Listening Command is so to speak a foundation of “4 Skills”.
ほとんどのLL生徒は、GOLD受験のErieちゃん(仮称)のように、順調にグレードが上がってゆき、「レポート、まだ来ない？」と…、楽しみにしています。
Most students of LL Shihoya Arai School is getting better in their Report Card like Erie (a tentative name) who took GOLD, asking Yoshy, “Didn’t my Report Card arrive yet?” … They were looking forward to their results.
実用英検の「3級」近くなると、その土台の上に「話し、読み、書く」という「自分の大きな城」を築いてゆく生徒と、土台のまま野ざらしにしてしまう生徒とに分かれます。
When their commands of practical English grow up to “the 3rd grade of Eiken”, Yoshy has two kinds of students; ones are trying to build up their competence of “Speaking, Reading and Writing” and another ones who are not making their efforts anymore on their remaining foundation.
ヨッシーの指導の80%達成を目標に、忍耐強くついてきて下さいね。
Always have an eye on your achievement that you could reach 80% of Yoshy’s homework; enjoy keeping learning with patience.
