2013年度#1・児童英検ご案内
LLシホヤ新井教室での実施は、６月２２日(土)で、実施時間は、図の通りです。受験希望者は、封筒などに、「クラス、氏名」と、「受験料」を添えてヨッシーか、志保屋書店にお申し込みください。お申し込み締切日は、５月24日(金)です。
#1 Junior Eiken-2013 is going to be held on Saturday, June 22nd. Each starting and ending time can be seen on an attached picture. All of the exam applicants should bring the envelope in which a note of “your class, name” and “examination-fee” enclosed to Yoshy in your class of LL Shihoya Arai School or to Shihoya Bookstore; the deadline is Friday, May 24th.
LLシホヤ新井教室生徒さんには、4月22日(月)～案内済みです。主に、GOLDのスコアが80に満たない場合と、実用英検５級レベル学習に達していない生徒さんが対象です。
This information document had already handed in some students corresponded to it since Monday, April 22nd. They are mainly those whose latest score is fewer than eighty or whose Eiken level doesn’t reach the fifth-grade.
受験料は、BRONZEが2,000円、SILVERが2,200円、GOLDが2,400円です。
The exam-fees are … BRONZE: 2,000 yen, SILVER: 2,200 yen and GOLD: 2,400 yen for each applicant.
合否がないので、「スコアが上がったかな？」と、受験生徒は、結果を心待ちにしています。ヨッシーは、渡す時、「ここがよかったね！」と褒めて渡します。
Since this test has the success or failure, the students who took have looked forward to their results expecting, “Is my score growing up?” When giving the result to him/her, Yoshy always praises him/her telling “Hum… this section is getting better!”
この子は、GOLD、もうすぐ80%の合格ラインにいます。
According to his case, his score is close to passing line of GOLD.
実用英検はちょっと怖いな…と思われるM-PEC会員さまやご父母様も、GOLDにチャレンジなさいませんか？「聴ける力」は、4技能の基礎です。
Those who are a little afraid of the practical Eiken, M-PEC members and LL students’ parents, why don’t you try its top level, GOLD? As you know, the command of listening is basis of four skills of the command of practical English.
ところで、ヨッシーは、指導者のぬくもりを感じることができない「サイトでの受験」には賛成できません。(財)日本英語検定協会の幹部で、ヨッシーの友人に、「コミュニケーション育成には、人間同士の対面受験が根本なのに、なぜ機械に向かう効率性ばかりを重視するのか？」と申し上げたことがあります。試験監督者のヨッシーが、例え一言も発しなくとも、私の一挙手一投足の雰囲気とCDの英語が、その場のイキイキした温もりを感じることができるのです。
BTW, Yoshy doesn’t agree to “Individual Exam through internet”, because the examiner couldn’t feel the appropriate atmosphere in it. Yoshy once gave my candid advice to one of my friends, an executive of The Society for Testing English Proficiency, Inc. saying that “Face-to-Face Communication is always to be an essential basis for mastering the command of communicative English; why do your Society recommend Japanese learners to use website-exam, that is sure effective in quickly finding his/her score, though?”
保護者様からは、「良いスコアを得るためには、どんな教材がありますか？」とのご質問が時々ございます。確かにございます。しかし、勘違いなさらないでくださいね。「普段のレッスンと家庭自修の成果」を、友達と比べず、「自らが、今の自分の力を自覚して、次のステップへの励みとなるための手段の一つ」に過ぎないのです。良いスコアを得たからといって、先の長い学習を甘く見ることになったら、本末転倒ですよ！
Some of Yoshy’s students’ parents have sometimes asked me saying that “What kind of learning text-sets in order have my son/daughter get better score?” – Please misunderstand this purpose, which should be one of various means of confirm your son/daughter’s present and approximate command! So if he/she got good score, spoiling him/herself in his/her daily learning; which should be said, “”Mistaking the means for the end!
