康源寺さんの山門：Very unique gate of Kogenji-temple
6月30日は、久しぶりに、文字どおりの「休日」でした。
June 30th was Sunday; as the name of it suggests, the day was Yoshy’s long-awaited “holiday”.
LLシホヤ新井教室の今秋 (10月6日(日)予定) 「#36 LLスピーチコンテスト」で披露する英語劇「ライオンと動物」の、「台本のあらすじ」を作り始めました。
Yoshy began to write the gist of “Lion and Animals” that several elementary students from LL Shihoya Arai School are going to perform at the opening just before “#36 LL Speech Contest” on Sunday, October 6th.
「短くても印象に残るストーリーになればいいなあ！」と願った瞬間、…
As soon as Yoshy wished in my mind, “This short story would be impressive!” …
配役になってくれそうな生徒たちの顔が思い浮かび、…
Lots of potential student-cast came to mind …
同時に、願いの短冊を守ってくれている笹竹も！
The bamboo branches which have been keeping holding their wishes also did to mind!
Rと一緒に、竹を寄贈して下さった康源寺住職 (ヨッシーの、新井小3年の時の同級生です。) に一言お礼を言いに行ってきました。
Then R and Yoshy visited the head priest of Kogenji-temple, who is one of Yoshy’s classmates in our 3rd grader of Arai Elementary School to say him thanks.
改めて観ると、康源寺さんの山門は、ご覧の通り、大変珍しい作りです。
Observing carefully, the gate of the temple is very unique, as you see.
鐘楼が山門の2階にあります。近いうちに、謂れを教えてもらいに行きます。
A bell place is on the 2nd floor of the gate tower. I’d like to again visit him to be taught its history in the near future.
住居脇の「オキナワスズメウリ」(左)とガウラ(和名：ハクチョウソウ、中央)と「パッションフルーツ」(右)の3鉢も大きくなっています。
Next, beside our residence, three plants in the pot are also growing up; they are “Native bryony” (left), Gaura (Its mean of Japanese name is Swan weed. center) and “Passion fruit” (right).
その右には、最近「私を見て！」と主張し始めた「花の女王、深紅の薔薇」が数輪、ひと際目を引くようになりました。
As you can see, there is some “Queen of Roses, Cardinal Roses”, like saying, “Look at me!” They are really particularly attractive.
教室に1輪飾りました。
Yoshy put one in the room of LL Shihoya Arai School.
ところで、家出したと思っていた、カマキリの子供が、畑脇の「百日草」の葉に！Rが発見！
BTW, R found the mantis-kid; we thought it had left us, on the back of a leaf of “zennie” beside LL Garden.
