土日は、とりわけ関東地方の珍しい「犠牲者まで出ている大雪被害」をTVで見て、お気の毒に思います。
According to TV news, a rare heavy snowfall attached Kanto area this weekend; “which even *contributed the death of the victims”. I am very sorry.

(土)は先ず、予定通り朝9時～正午まで、今年度第3回児童英検を実施しました。
Last Saturday, first of all, #3 Junior Eiken was held on schedule, from 9:00 am to noon.

エリーを大好きな子供たちばかりでしたので、エリーもヨッシーと一緒に監督業務に当たりました。
Because all of the examinee were fond of Erie (Yoshy’s pet-dog), she was in charge of proctor with me.
昼過ぎに2回目の道付け= 除雪をして、次に、3時～4時半のASクラスのレッスン…
Yoshy cleaned snow on the doorway off again, then I did a lesson of AS-class of LL Shihoya Arai School from 3:00 pm to 4:30.
そして、7時～9時：2月月例M-PEC講座を楽しみました。
Then, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, we enjoyed the monthly M-PEC Lesson (YEA) of February.
6名+カリンちゃん(元盲導犬)+エリーが参加して下さいました。ありがとうございました。

追加した教案は、その朝実施した「児童英検GOLD」問題の一部を、お遊び＋耳慣らしとして、最初に楽しみました。実用英検5級以下レベルのリスニング問題ですので、リラックスできました。
Just at the beginning, we challenged a few listening questions of “#3 Junior Eiken, GOLD” *for fun. GOLD level is less than the one of the 5th Practical Eiken, so we could relaxed.

ミュージカル：「マイフェアレディ」の中の「運が良けりゃ！」は、DVDの映像と英語字幕を使いましたので、臨場感を満喫しながら何回も聴き、歌いました。
I was happy to know they were fond of watching and listening to the scene of “A Little Bit of Luck” in “My Fair Lady”. As I had them show English caption with the scene, their imagination became vivid and alive. We watched and listen to it many times, then sang a couple of times.
イライザのお父さん、ドゥーリトルさんは、飲んだくれですが、どこか憎めない豪放磊落なキャラです。見たり歌ったりしていると、ちっちゃな悩みごとなど吹っ飛びましたね。
Mr. Doolittle who is Eliza’s father is a *full-time drunk, but a lovable and *openhearted man. That scene blew off our tiny troubles which had stuck in our minds, didn’t it?

あっという間に時間になって、「馬の折り紙」は省略しました。3月8日(土)の講座では、「雛人形の折り紙」にしようかな？今月末頃に教案を予告させて頂きます。
*The time just flew by. We couldn’t make an origami-horse. Well, how about making origami-dolls in next lesson on March 8th (Sat)? Let me announce the plan around end of this month.
