アイスノンで涼しいワン！
ヨッシーの友人O様の愛犬、パール君です。
This dog is one of Yoshy’s friends, Mr. O’s Pearl.
ビーグル犬はスヌーピーで有名ですね。
This beagle is famous for Snoopy.
あまりの暑さに、散歩の帰りには「アイスノン」を首につけてもらっています。
He’s wearing “Ice-non”. It’s been so hot that Mr. O has sometimes put it after walking, I knew by his e-mail.
先回の「英語劇練習」でも見える通り、エリーは、エアコンが効いている教室か事務所にいます。
As you read or saw Erie in “Training of LL English Drama”, she can stay in either LL-room or LL-office, which are comfortable because air-conditioner is working.
偶々、配役全員が、「エリー大好き！」なので、ラッキーですね。
Erie is really lucky to be able to stay there because “all the cast love her very much” and she can stay with them.
LLシホヤ新井教室の本部、(財)日本LL教育センターのK様は、「レッスン中のエリーが生徒にとって、空気みたいに見えて」、「ありえな～い！」と…。
Mr. K who is one of the staff of Foundation Japan LL Education Center once e-mailed Yoshy “It’s impossible!”, because “A dog is sitting in lessons. She looks like air for the student.”
ところで、「アイスノン」は商標名です。調べてみましたら、英語の普通名詞は、cold compress…お陰で、勉強になりました。
By the way, “Ice-non” is a TM, trade mark. Yoshy confirmed its common noun is “cold compress”. Thanks to Mr. O, Yoshy could learn a new English word.
