LL スピーチコンテスト・クラス予選が酣(たけなわ)：LL SC Class Preliminary is in full swing.
今朝、久しぶりに妙高山 (2,453 m)が見えました。
We could see Mt. Myoko (2,454 m) this morning after so long.
左が「合歓(ねむ)の木」、中央が「文化ホール」、右の低木が「桜の木」です。
You see “a Persian Silk Tree” at the left, “The Culture Hall” in the middle and “Cherry Trees” on the right.

There are at last ten guards of all sizes now. The leaves are already “autumn colored”.
今週幼児クラスは除き、どのクラスでも「LLスピーチコンテスト・クラス予選」を実施しています。
This week “LL Speech Contest Class preliminary” is being held in every class except infant classes.
根気よく練習を続けた成果が分かる生徒と、正反対の生徒と、色々です。
There are various kinds of students; some kept practicing very well, some didn’t at all, etc.
努力した生徒が報われる「校内大会」にしたいものです。
Yoshy would like to set up “The Interclass” in which effort should be rewarded.
今年度は、主にPCクラス以上は、例年よりレベルを下げて、暗唱しやすくしてあります。やる気が起きない生徒は、勿論います。
At Yoshy’s own discretion, the grades of recitations over PC class were reduced more than usual. So every student must have been able to learn. But there are some students who didn’t do it at all.
その代り、最後に「自分の意見、考え」を一言述べるように指導しています。
Instead, Yoshy tried to lead them so that they could speak “their own opinions or ideas” at the final sentence.
「中高生、一般の部」は、9月1日(日)、「小学生の部」は、10月6日(日)です。
“The part of J/S High School Students” is going to be held on Sunday, September 1st and “The one of The Elementary School Students” is on Sunday, October 6th.
