「のぼうの城」、「折り紙の馬」： “Nobo’s Castle”, “Origami-horses”
1月7日(火)、朝8時でも教室下出入り口の寒暖計は零度でした。
A thermometer at the west doorway of LL Shihoya Arai School read just 0 degree even at 8:00 am on Tuesday, January 7th.
でも紺碧の空が広がっていました。
Though it was very cold, the sky was completely deep blue.
早朝ならエリーと「凍み渡り」を楽しめたのですが、残念。
If Yoshy had got up earlier, I could have enjoyed “walking on frozen snow-field” with Erie! I’m sorry, Erie.
桜の木を注意深く見たら、米粒大の蕾がピンク色でした。「生きている木」なんだと、感動！
Watching the cherry trees carefully, I found so many little buds whose size was a grain of rice were colored pink. I was moved by the view; saying to myself, “This is REALLY alive!”
前日夜、偶々「のぼうの城」を途中から鑑賞、釘付けになりました。
The night before, I could have a chance to *in the middle watch a TV movie, “Nobo’s Castle”, which *made me glued to it.

能楽師、野村萬斎扮する忍城(おしじょう)城主、成田長親(なりたながちか、天文14年：1545-慶長17年：1613)のマイペースな性格が私とそっくり！…もちろん人徳は雲泥の差です！
The castellan of Oshi-jo, Narita Nagachika’s character is almost as same as my *self-paced character. A noh player, Nomura Mansai was casting as the lord … Needless to say, his *virtue is *as different as chalk and cheese.
