前回のブログでの「満月の隣の星」は、火星でした。皆既月食だったことを知らずにいました。恥ずかしいです。
Yoshy miswrote the planet beside the moon in the latest blog; it was not Venus but Mars. Actually I had no idea that it was a total eclipse of the moon; I’m ashamed.

桜並木の花はどんどん散っています。
The flowers along Cherry Avenue are rapidly falling down.
勤研センター前の桜の樹齢100年近い老木は、大正5年(1916) 新井尋常小学校改築記念植樹当時からのものだと思います。紫陽花(あじさい)の葉が大きくなってきました。
The old cherry tree in front of Kin-ken Center is probably close to 100 years old; it was planted in 1916 (Taisho 5) as a memory of reconstruction of Arai Jinjo Elementary School. The leaves of hydrangea are growing bigger and bigger.

小4男女のPBクラス2回目のレッスンの一こまです。「絵カード」ではなく、裏に印字されている英語でも読めることが分かって嬉しかったです。「お腹が一杯 / すいた」、「厚い / 薄い」…
This is one scene of the second lesson of PB-class in 2014. Yoshy was happy to know they were able to enjoy activities by using those picture-cards, reading spellings as well as watching pictures. The cards tell for example, “hungry-full”, “thick-thin”, etc.
